Conceived in the summer of 2019 in the heart of Slovak mountains, Weltschmerzen’s eponymous debut album is the result of a long-term harmonious accord // a common expression of the bleak view on the challenges of contemporary world // and especially an attempt to capture, just like a journal entry, the schmerzen of living. 
The record binds together Tittingur’s brutalist broken sound dystopia, this time omitting the techno beats their audience has grown used to; instead accompanied by Tomáš’s more visceral, delicate and graceful approach to sound and composition.
 The result is a record that’s // perhaps intentionally // hard to allocate. And that is somehow the point: to create desperate, bold, piercing music, lying outside of the limits of common genres. In a world where all has been said and written and captured, limits stop making sense. Instead, it is the pure delectation of composing a soundtrack for the hopelessness of this world.
