With "Gris Gris" Dr. John already celebrated great successes in 1968. He worked with greats like Frank Zappa, the Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Eric Clapton, Willy De Ville and Phil Spector, his picturesque and colorful stage performances catapulted him to the forefront of psychedelic rock. "Gris Gris", "The Sun, Moon And Herbs" or "In The Right Place" are all classics of the genre today. In 2007, Dr. John was inducted into the Blues Hall Of Fame.
