Work on the record began in 2014. Drummer Pete Sandoval (ex-Morbid Angel) had to make sure he would be healthy enough for a new album after suffering from a back injury since 2009 that still affected him years later. Joining the band are Sam Molina and Lee Harrison, both of Malevolent Creation. The band invokes its roots and delivers brutal Grind/Death without compromise.
