"Works," which was later reissued as "Works Volume 1," was originally released on March 17, 1977, with all three band members, Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer, releasing original tracks on it, each on one side of the original double LP. The fourth side contains joint songs, including a new version of Aaron Copland's "Fanfare For The Common Man". "Works Volume 1" reached number nine in the charts in the UK, number ten in Germany and number twelve in the USA. The deluxe anniversary edition of "Works Volume 1" It has been exactly 40 years since Emerson, Lake & Palmer released their fifth studio album "Works". To mark this anniversary, 2017 sees a remastered deluxe edition of the progressive rock classic. The anniversary deluxe edition includes a 24-bit/high-density remaster of the original album. There is also a booklet with extensive liner notes, new interviews with the band members and rare photos.
