Together with Stjepan Hauser, Luka Sulic has conquered the music world as 2CELLOS and created one of the most successful instrumental formations ever - both in concert and with their videos and albums they have broken records. Now Luka Sulic has set out on his own for a project of the heart and arranged Vivaldi's long-running hit "Four Seasons" completely for cello and baroque ensemble for the first time. After seven years on tour with 2CELLOS, Luka Sulic has fulfilled his heart's desire with his first solo album, The Four Seasons. Over a period of two years, he carefully arranged Antonio Vivaldi's most famous work for cello with great attention to detail. Now, for the first time ever, one of the most famous works in music history is available in a recording for cello and string orchestra. Luka Sulic is accompanied by the chamber ensemble Archi dell'Accademia di Santa Cecilia under the baton of Luigi Piovano. Luka Sulic studied at London's famous Royal Academy of Music and has loved "The Four Seasons" since childhood. Vivaldi originally wrote the work for solo violin, but Luka played the concerto on the cello as a child. "Throughout my career, I have always tried to bring to new audiences, the music I love and grew up with," Luka Sulic explains. "Vivaldi's Four Seasons is a piece that everyone immediately recognizes, making it just the right introduction to classical music."
