Twenty years after its original release, Snow Patrol are reissuing their breakthrough third studio album, Final Straw, so named because the band thought it might be their last album, their "final straw." It turned out to be the album that put them on the map, going 6-times platinum in the UK and Ireland to date. This 20th anniversary edition will be available as a 2CD and 2LP. Both formats include three previously unreleased tracks from the album sessions, six original demos from the album, and new in-depth and insightful liner notes written by Snow Patrol's lead singer Gary Lightbody. On April 7, Snow Patrol will release the 20th Anniversary Edition of their classic album "Final Straw." The 2CD edition of the album features 23 additional tracks, including never-before-heard demos, B-sides and the previously unreleased track "Tired." Also included are extensive new liner notes by Gary Lightbody and lyrics to Final Straw by Jo Whiley and Fiction Records CEO Jim Chancellor. "Final Straw" was Snow Patrol's third album and their major label debut. Written and recorded at a time when it was all or nothing for the quartet, it set them on the path to becoming one of the greatest British guitar groups of the 21st century. The 2CD also includes the 11 Final Straw tracks recorded for their 2004 DVD concert film "Live at Somerset House".
