Trumpeter Lee Morgan recorded nearly 20 albums under his own name for Blue Note in the 1960s. So many, in fact, that the label could hardly keep up with publishing at the time. "Infinity" was recorded in 1965 with a top-class hard bop quintet, from which the brilliant alto saxophonist Jackie McLean stood out as the second soloist alongside the brilliant Morgan.
