A rock milestone in a worthy setting. Fans of Guns N' Roses have been eagerly waiting for this: The rock icons are reissuing their legendary "Appetite For Destruction" in 2018, fully remastered and in a variety of exciting formats. "Appetite For Destruction" is the debut album of the hard rockers around Axl Rose and Slash. Thanks to songs like "Welcome To The Jungle", "Paradise City" and "Sweet Child O' Mine" it is still one of the best-selling albums in rock. Now the milestone is available in unprecedented sound quality and also in different versions: In addition to the remastered CD, "Appetite For Destruction" is available as a double CD with 18 additional bonus tracks, including B-sides, EP tracks and seven previously unreleased recordings, for example from the "Sound City Session" from 1986 as well as an acoustic version of "Move To The City" from 1988. Vinyl fans will still get their money's worth with the double LP. This contains the original album in an art print foil slipcase. An absolute highlight is a hologram of the band logo on one of the LPs. Last but not least, "Appetite For Destruction" comes as a super deluxe edition with four CDs, including the remastered original album, B-sides, EP tracks, unreleased tracks, for example from the "Sound City Session" and the "Mike Clink Sessions", and a Blu-ray audio with the album, bonus tracks and music videos in the new 5.1 surround sound. The whole thing is rounded off by a 96-page hardcover book with unpublished photos from Axl Rose's private archive and lots of interesting information and memories.
