Angus Stone is best known as a duo with his sister Julia. The siblings have long been stars in their home country of Australia and have also been welcome guests in the upper chart regions in Europe for several years. Stone has also been touring solo for a few years now with his project Dope Lemon. the new, second album will be released in 2019. "Smooth Big Cat" is the follow-up to "Honey Bones" from 2016 and the EP "Hounds Tooth" from 2017. The musician recorded and produced ten songs for it. Instead of folk and pop, "Smooth Big Cat" features electronic sounds and 90s slacker rock with lo-fi charm. Dope Lemon already revealed what that sounds like with the first single "Hey You".
