"Come Back To Me" is the comeback, after a long hiatus, of Peter One, formerly a folk and country music star in West Africa. In the 1980s, he played sold-out arenas across Africa and reached huge audiences with television and radio shows. After moving to the U.S., he hung up the music business, but continued to write songs and play guitar. After a US label specializing in African music reissued an album of his in 2018 to huge success, the rediscovery of Peter One and his music is in full swing. His debut on Verve Forecast convinces with catchy new songs between folk-pop and world music. It features songs in English, French and Peter's native African language.
