Lise Davidsen once again demonstrates her versatility with her second album "Beethoven - Wagner - Verdi" together with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Mark Elder. With the repertoire recorded at Lockdown, she pays tribute to some of the great heroines of German and Italian opera: Verdi's Leonora from La forza del destino, Cherubini's Medea and Santuzza in Cavalleria rusticana. Not only the recording of the aria "Abscheulicher! Wo eilst du hin?" by Leonore from Fidelio, but also her signature piece, Richard Wagner's five "Wesendonck Lieder," are real highlights of her new album.Prihlásenie
